if a guy’s interest in gaming takes precedence over making an effort in his relationship, then his girlfriend is entitled to be pissed off, it’s not unreasonable to expect to spend time with your significant other, so there is no need for condescending inverted commas

not everyone is into gaming, and not being cheated on isn’t some kind of privilege to be thankful for which excuses being shitty in other ways

basically according to this, a girl is expected to not only partake in computer/console games as the only way to spend time with her boyfriend, but to also put up with being made fun of until she can impress him through doing this

like if you enjoy playing games with your boyfriend and that’s the way you choose to spend your time together, gud 4 u, i take no issue with that 

but i do take issue with talking about other women as though their self worth and their own interests are of less value than their boyfriend’s, because if women are preaching this to other women it just makes men feel even more entitled to think this way

don’t be telling other girls not to stand up for themselves or that they should compromise
